DFG awarded DIMA funding for an interdisciplinary research project on large-scale data analysis for integrating renewable energy and electric vehicles
We are pleased to announce that DFG awarded DIMA funding for an interdisciplinary research project on large-scale data analysis for integrating renewable energy and electric vehicles. The " moreEVS " project (Multi-Domain Modeling and Optimization of Integrated Renewable Energy and Urban Electric Vehicle Systems) will bring together state-of-the-art research in energy demand modeling, battery quality management, grid infrastructure for renewable energy, and large-scale data management.
Besides DIMA, the project partners are:
- the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles at the Beijing Institute of Technology
- the Electric Power System Institute at Tsinghua University
- the Methods for Product Development and Mechatronics department at TU Berlin
- the Sustainable Electric Networks and Sources of Energy department at TU Berlin
The project is part of a bilateral initiative for joint Sino-German research projects. The German Research Foundation (DFG) funds the German part of the project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) funds the Chinese part.
